The name of Mike Markle was not well known to the public until now when he made a public appearance viciously attacking his cousin, Duchess Meghan Markle. A retired 80-year-old diplomat, who spent most of his working life at the US Embassy in Buenos Aires, claims that Meghan Markle has turned her back on their family.
The older brother of Megan’s father, Thomas Markle, has joined the rest of the family in condemning the Duchess through the media. They blame her for not including them in her new life, since becoming a fiancé and then Prince Harry’s wife, as well as for not inviting them to a royal wedding. They also think she is selfish for not giving them a chance to meet little Archie.

When Meghan was 20, Mike used his influence at the US Embassy in Argentina and secured her a prestigious internship, which helped her to keep up with the diplomacy and humanitarian organizations she was involved with.
Looking at the Duchess of Sussex’s behavior over the past two years, Mike said: “Meghan has climbed socially and left us behind — that’s how I feel. I think that’s what happens when you are ‘underclass’ and trying to rise above the reality of your situation.”
Also, Mike Markle believes that it was Meghan’s behavior, fierce attitude, and demanding character that led to a confrontation with Kate Middleton.
“Coming from her background, she may have a chip on her shoulder. It could be that that’s part of the problem she’s having with her sister-in-law. Meghan is immature in some ways. I feel that because of the way she acts — not only towards family members but other people,” Mike Markle said.
Mike also thinks that her father, Thomas spoiled Megan, so everything we look at today is a consequence of that.
“It could be that she’s bossy towards staff because she’s been spoilt by my brother. He doted on her a lot — more than he did his other children. Tom spent more time with her and helped her in school and stuff like that. Tom has more of a rapport with her than with the rest of the kids. That’s a problem. She’s a prima donna because he treated her really well,” Meghan’s uncle explained.
The 80-year-old diplomat talked about the royal wedding, to which he wasn’t invited.
“She didn’t invite a lot of people, so I don’t feel that bad, she didn’t discriminate against me. It would have been nice for her to have some of her family, but I don’t understand her, I don’t communicate with her because I understand they don’t accept mail at the Palace. I don’t know what I’d say to her if I could write to her. It’s up to her to make the first move as far as I’m concerned”, Mike stated.
