After 6 Years Doctors Say: “Michael Schumacher Is No Longer the Man Who Dominated F1”

The whole world was left in shock in 2013 when it became known that the famous Formula One driver Michael Schumacher had a severe skiing accident.

The seven-time car racing champion then suffered a severe head injury that caused him to be in a coma for a long time and because of which his life was endangered for some time.

For six years since the accident, no one has seen Schumacher in public, and renowned Italian neurosurgeon Nicola Acciari claims his condition has deteriorated since his skiing accident.

He claims that Schumacher is no longer the man who dominated F1.

“We must imagine a person very different from the one we remember on the track, with a very altered and deteriorated organic, muscular, and skeletal structure. All as a result of the brain trauma he suffered”, the neurosurgeon told Diario Uno.

Schumacher is out of the coma, and he lives in his villa on Lake Geneva with his wife Corinna and their two children. Very little is known about the accident since his wife and children do not want to give any information, but Jean Todt, the former manager of the famous driver, revealed in December 2019 that Michael was “still fighting.” He came to that conclusion when he visited Schumacher at his villa, to watch the Grand Prix together.

“I’m always careful with such statements, but it’s true. I saw the race together with Michael Schumacher at his home in Switzerland. Michael is in the best hands and is well looked after in his house. He does not give up and keeps fighting,” Todt said.

Still, Todt discovers that Michael can’t communicate as well as he could before.

“His family is fighting just as much, and of course, our friendship cannot be the same as it once was. Just because there’s no longer the same communication as before,” Schumacher’s former manager admitted.

Still, his old friend Willi Weber shocked the public last year when he said that Corinna was hiding the truth about her husband’s health condition.

“I’d like to know how he’s doing and shake hands or stroke his face. But unfortunately, this is rejected by Corinna. She’s probably afraid that I’ll see right away what’s going on and make the truth public”, Weber said.

On December 29, 2013, Michael Schumacher suffered a severe brain injury when he hit his head on a rock while skiing. He spent three months in an induced coma so doctors could save his life. Given that the family makes no statements about his health, the public is left to speculate on how the former Formula One champion is now feeling.

The only statement was given by his wife Corinna Schumacher when she decided to answer the accusation that she is preventing Michael’s friends from seeing him.

“He is in the best of hands right now, and we are doing everything we can to help him. Try to understand that we follow Michael’s desire to keep his health a secret,” she stated.
