Kanye West seems to have big plans for Wyoming, as he has bought another ranch there. Previously, the singer paid $14 million for a ranch in Cody. This time, he targeted Greybull. West spent $14 million on a ranch called Bighorn Mountain Ranch.
Bighorn Mountain Ranch
At the same time, Kanye bought a huge warehouse in Cody. Although some voice concern that he may interrupt the quiet lives of the local population, others are delighted that he is there and welcome him with open arms.
“Whenever he buys something in town, everyone talks about it,” some of the locals said. “Locals are still kind of surprised he’s here, but everyone is very welcoming to it.”
With 6,713 acres of rolling hills and meadows, Bighorn Mountain Ranch is a massive property. According to the listing on a local real estate board, it “consists of excellent cabins and lodges, rolling grass-covered hills, and meadows that are cut by deep tree-covered canyons and game filled bluffs.”
Bighorn Mountain Ranch started out as a small cabin back in 1906. Since then, the family that owned it added more property and expanded or built more additions. At the moment, the main house has five bedrooms and four bathrooms. There is also a cookhouse and three additional cabins for guests. The ranch features two heated helipads. The nearest airport is just 10 minutes away by a helicopter. The property boasts a large number of cattle and wildlife and has White Creek passing through it.
Monster Lake Ranch
Previously, Kanye bought Monster Lake Ranch in Cody, just 52 miles from Yellowstone National Park. It is also a huge property, covering more than 4,500 acres. Locals have reported that the rapper is touring local schools, which may be an indication of how serious he is on moving to Wyoming with his family, wife Kardashian West and kids Psalm, Chicago, Saint, and North.
Kim’s Dreams
Just days before the purchase was made public, an interview featuring Kim came out in Vogue Arabia. In it, the wife of the famous singer said this: “In my mind I’m already living in those 10 years. I see us living on a ranch in Wyoming, occasionally going to Palm Springs and our home in Los Angeles — and becoming a lawyer.”
It looks like she is well on her way of achieving her dream.
