EXPRESS – 01/23/2020: Not everyone is a Trump supporter. But you would expect that family and close friends of Trump’s would be by their side. Testimonies taken from one particular book claim otherwise. It appears that friends of Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner are not very fond of Donald Trump.
POTUS is a polarizing person. You either love him or hate him. There aren’t many of those who aren’t fazed by him. They have to be as his comments about Mexicans, Muslims, women’s rights, and immigration doesn’t leave anyone indifferent. Rhetoric about the Muslim ban and Mexican wall make you want to choose sides.
During this week, Donald Trump spoke about his plans to add more countries on the travel ban list. Most of them are Muslim-populated.

Ivanka and Jared have many friends, and some of them belong to the New York Jewish community. Comments made by President Trump often make them uncomfortable.

Vicky Ward, the author of the book mentioned above, Kushner inc., claims that most people that Ivanka and Jared are close with understood their decision to join Trump in his campaign. Thanks to their involvement, he won the elections, and now they are part of his administration.
But, despite their understanding of Ivanka and Jared, they find themselves to be on the opposite side of what Mr. Trump says and represents. They claim that Trump can’t be explicit about Mexicans and Muslims. Trump often claims that he doesn’t want more Muslims in the USA so that the chances of terror attacks are lower. In the case of Mexicans, Trump claims he’s reducing the number of criminals by keeping Mexicans out of the country.
Jared and Ivanka’s friends are Jews, and they believe that Trump could easily turn on them by claiming nonsense like that Jews are going to steal everyone’s money. They think that he lacks common sense in dealing with matters such as Muslim and Mexican immigrants.

Interestingly Ivanka was converted to Judaism before her marriage to Jared, whose family is Orthodox Jewish.
