Elvis Presley died of a heart attack on August 16, 1977. He was found on the bathroom floor by his then-girlfriend Ginger Alden. Lisa Marie Presley was nine years old.

She spoke with her father for the last time early in the morning on the day he died. Elvis saw that Lisa was awake and came to tell her she needed to sleep. It was at 4 am. “He kissed me and left,” Lisa said, adding that this was the last time she’d seen him.
