Selena Gomez has a new tattoo. The 27-year-old pop star just got a matching tattoo with her longtime best friend and colleague Julia Michaels. The singers inked arrows that point to one another when they hold hands.
“It’s tatted… my arrow points to you forever,” Gomez wrote on her Instagram story, where she put a picture of the two looking down at their tattoos.

The second one is inked in the most hidden place. Specifically, she tattooed on her neck, the Roman numeral LXXVI, which means 76. This was made by Keith “Bang Bang” McCurdy, a famous celebrity tattoo artist. This tattoo was a tribute to her mom Amanda who was born in 1976.
The work on the tattoo, she reveals, lasted only 20 minutes, and Selena came a little scared because she was afraid she would not be able to endure the pain. That’s why she held her best friend’s hand all the time.
3. God who strengthens me

In 2013, Selena Gomez showed off her new tattoo, a biblical verse “God who strengthens me” written on her right hip. Selena told Ryan Seacrest on his show ‘On Air with Ryan Seacrest’ the tattoo is from The Philippians 4:13 verse of the Bible, Selena’s favorite passage: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
4. Love yourself first

Written in Arabic, “Love yourself first” tattoo, Gomez made in 2014. Tattoo from artist Bang Bang McCurdy is located on the right side of her back. Bang Bang explained to E! News that Selena’s tattoo is about 4 inches, and didn’t take too long to make about 30-45 minutes.
5. Om symbol

6. G tattoo

Letter G, an initial that stands for her little half-sister Gracie, is located behind her left ear. Little Gracie was born in 2013, two years after Selena’s mother had a miscarriage with another baby girl.
7. Sunshine

A week after ’13 Reasons Why’ series was released, Selena Gomez went to the tattoo studio with the cast. Selena, Alisha Boe, and Tommy Dorfman tattooed the semicolon, followed by a strong message about mental health and how important it is.
The semicolon symbolizes hope for those struggling with depression, addiction, self-harm, and suicidal thoughts.
The semicolon project was launched in 2013 by activist Amy Bleuel, who lost her father after killing himself. It is tragic that Bleuel, who has been suffering from depression for 20 years, also committed suicide at the age of 31.

Selena Gomez and her best friend Courtney Barry got two matching tattoos of the number “1” on their ribs. The occasion for this was Barry’s 26th birthday.
Selena wrote on Instagram: “My actual #1 @courtneyjbarry, you are an incredible woman. The way you handle life’s most confusing moments is indescribable and graceful. Both Selena and her friend Courtney are part of the group of four friends that has matching “4” tattoos. Two more of Selena’s closest friends got the “4” symbol that represents the unity between the four of them. This tattoo was created on the same day as the tattoo “1.”
