THE MIX – 01/28/2020: Donald Trump has a lot of support. Some of it comes from the Hollywood elite. It’s known that Hollywood is not fond of Trump as many actors, including Robert De Niro, often criticize Trump. But, he has at least one big supporter in Jon Voight. Angelina Jolie’s father once again showed his affection towards POTUS in another powerful video.
This can be considered as a brave act as very few Hollywood premium actors are willing to support Trump publicly. An Academy Award winner Jon Voight belongs to the old guard of Hollywood and is not afraid to make his opinion public. On Friday, Voight called for all Americans to pray for POTUS.

Voight left a heartfelt message for Trump on Twitter. This is not the first time that the National Treasure actor supports the President of the United States this way. In some of his previous videos, he called Donald Trump the “greatest president of this century.”

He’s also not fond of the Democratic party. This comes naturally for all Republicans. In the past, Voight was also not shy about criticizing them. In another of his videos, he stated that the Democrat party no longer represents America.
This video comes as a response to the ongoing impeachment process, which has an aim to resolve Trump of his duties as a President. According to Voight, there is no substantial evidence that could convince President Trump. He even goes as far as to claim that everything brought up against the President is nothing more than lies.

While democrats condone Jon Voight for publicly supporting Donald Trump, he asks for more people to follow his suit. Hollywood liberals are regular in their actions against Trump, so Voight looks to wake up some of his more conservative colleagues to do as he does. If you think about it, it’s strange that Hollywood doesn’t support Trump as he is more of a celebrity than a politician.
