Rapper Cardi B and her husband Offset have always been considered one of the strongest couples on the scene. Still, their relationship was not always idyllic.
Cardi B and a member of Migos fell in love in 2016, a year before Cardi became a superstar and experienced the huge success of the “Bodack Yellow” song topping the Billboard’s Hot 100 list.
The couple was together as they made their way to the world music throne, having gone through numerous challenges supporting each other and getting married in secret – the public learned that they were married only eight months later.
They were so in love that in October 2017, Offset again proposed to the rapper, this time on stage, because he felt she deserved a romantic fantasy moment.
In July of the following year, she brought their daughter, Kulture, to the world, and in December, everyone knew that Offset and Cardi were no longer together. The reason for their separation was Offset’s adultery.
Just two months after the romantic proposal on the stage, a snapshot of Offset in bed with a few girls appeared on social media. The rapper, therefore, had to work on her relationship with Offset for a good part of her pregnancy and answer questions from fans and the media about how she feels about him cheating.
“I know I look good, I know I’m rich, and I know I’m talented. I know I could get any man I want—any basketball player, a football player. But I want to work out my sh*t with my man, and I don’t get to explain why. I’m not your property. This is my life. I’m going to take my time, and I’m going to decide on my decision. It’s not right, what he f**king did—but people don’t know what I did, ’cause I ain’t no angel”, she said to Cosmopolitan a few months before giving birth.

The couple made up, and today Cardi B and Offset are in love more than ever, but fans of Cardi, who is known as a fearless woman who isn’t silent about anything, can’t get over the fact that she forgave rapper for cheating.
In an interview she gave for Vogue, she referred to her reasons.
“Everybody has issues, and I believe in forgiveness. I believe in forgiveness. I prayed on it. Me and my husband, we prayed on it. We had priests come to us. And we just came to an understanding like bro, it’s really us against the world. He has my back for everything, I have his back for everything, so when you cheat, you’re betraying the person that has your back the most,” Cardi B said.

She continued: “Why would you do that? We have come to a clear understanding. For me, monogamy is the only way. I’ll beat your ass if you cheat on me”. She said that a lot of people were mad at her and that a lot of women felt disappointed in her also.
Cardi B, by the way, is the first rapper to be on the cover of a prestigious magazine, for which she added that Offset and she are stronger today than ever.
