Model and actress Cara Delevingne recently was a guest on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” in which she revealed that she ate a rat during wilderness adventure with Bear Grylls. Delevingne also looked back on her childhood on the show.

The 27-year-old model admitted that she had always been fascinated by Bear Grylls and that the invitation to do the show with him was a dream come true.

“He came to my school when I was nine years old. And he was one of the first people to climb Everest, youngest people to climb Everest. I’ve been obsessed with him ever since. So when he asked me to do his show, I just knew, whatever Bear asked me to, I had to do it. He is my idol”, Cara said on the show.

“We were going down a hill, and I saw a dead rat, I was horrified. Bear, on the other hand, was delighted and said it was our dinner. He then asked me to put it in my bag and we later prepared it together. It did not smell, but it had been dead for several days. It was the most disgusting thing in my life”, the model spoke through laughter.

In the second part of the show, she also mentioned her past and referred to the traumas she has from childhood because, as she said, her mother was a drug addict.

“She is a strong and brave woman, and I love her very much. However, the fact is that she was a drug addict and I had to be her parent, not the other way around. That left a lot of marks on me. At that moment, I was going through my teenage phase, where I discovered that I like women too. I couldn’t handle the world at the time”, the model said to Jimmy Fallon.
