One of those is former Green Bay Packers HC, Mike McCarthy. After spending one year outside the league, he’s ready to make a comeback.
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Carolina Panthers already interviewed him for a position. As you know, Panthers are currently without a permanent head coach as they parted ways with Ron Rivera earlier this month. Despite Schefter’s reports, the Panthers organization declined to comment.
During his absence from football, Mike McCarthy tried to lead a low profile life. This was not possible because both reporters and the public wanted to know the truth about his relationship with Rodgers. While McCarthy didn’t speak much on the subject, many former players and employees gave their opinions.
