Fashion designer Donatella Versace has had so many aesthetic interventions on her face that she doesn’t even know the number herself, and the results are, to put it mildly, frightening.
Many well-known ladies went through plastic surgery, but no woman was able to change their appearance as 65-year-old Donatella Versace did.
The sister of the tragically deceased Gianni Versace, who looked charming twenty years ago, with full, natural lips and healthy skin, today seems so unnatural and unrecognizable.
What happened to this Italian designer (whose steps somehow seems to be followed by her daughter, Allegra), and who is in the middle of her sixth decade looking like a well-kept 80-year-old, we will discover in a small photo-time machine.
1993: When she was 37, Donatella worked extensively with her brothers in a fashion empire built by Gianni, balancing work-life with her private life. In her late thirties, Donatella had naturally full, sensual lips, healthy skin, and some wrinkles around her eyes.
1997: Three months after the tragic death of his brother, the famous creator Gianni, who was killed at the door of his luxury villa in Miami, we saw Donatella at the VH1 Fashion Awards with a still natural, unchanged appearance. She was 42 at the time.
1998: As a primary successor to the fashion empire, Donatella is increasingly showing that besides beauty, she has the perfect sense of business as Versace increasingly becomes popular and successful. Significant changes on her face are still not there.
2002: Two years after her divorce from Paul, Donatella looks different, and experts confirm that she did certain Botox interventions, as well as cheekbone lifting and tiny eye area interventions.
2005: During this period, Donatella said in an interview with the US edition of Vogue magazine that she has not been an addict for 18 years and that she regularly goes to Botox sessions. “I don’t believe it’s possible to grow old naturally. I don’t believe in natural beauty in a woman.”
2008: The changes are now so striking that no one mentions minimal, minor interventions, but those that have drastically changed her face.
2011: The skin looks like paper, dry, full of cracks as if it had been exposed to the sun for days. Neck interventions are also noticeable.
2014: Too much Botox equals Donatella. Eyebrows, eyelashes, eyelids, cheekbones, lips, chin everything looks like it is drawn on a celebrity’s face.
2020: Donatella doesn’t look like herself anymore.
