The title of the nicest guy in Hollywood is for sure something many stars would like to have. However, that title belongs to one and only Tom Hanks.
Tom Hanks is known for being kind to everyone, including complete strangers. It turns out that many people on the Internet have beautiful stories about him helping out others.
It all started after Taffy Brodesser-Akner published an article about the actor in The New York Times. He said that he was going through depression, but when he started interviewing Tom, he wasn’t anymore. “He doesn’t appear to have a need to be known by his public, but he also doesn’t have the same strains of contempt for journalists that I’ve seen from other movie stars,” the NYT journalist said about Hanks.
Hangs starred in a movie called “A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood.” The story is about the legendary Mr. Rogers, who is known to be the epitome of goodness. The role fits Hanks perfectly! Both of them teach us that we can make someone’s day by just being a bit brighter.
For instance, go surprise your neighbors with a freshly baked pie. Also you could help the local kids build a treehouse. Smile at the tired waitress and make her day a bit better. Give a stranger a compliment. If you behave nicely to others, the same will return to you as well. Use Tom Hanks as an example.
