Just in time for the 2019 Goodwood Festival of Speed, the famous American automaker Ford has released the GT Mk II track car. The official debut of this limited racecar will be offered and sold to the interested customers through Multimatic. This is a company that pushed the sports car to a whole new level.

Because there are no limits to follow when it comes to homologation rules, the Ford GT Mk II complies with nobody and nothing. This means that anyone who buys it can expect unchanged and unlimited muscle, and only the raw untamed performance. Power and aerodynamics are heavily modified by Ford, while the 3.5 liter V6 engine has received an additional 53 horsepower. This is not a total of an unreal 700 horsepower.

Multimatic fitted the car with a high-capacity, air-to-air outboard charge air cooler. It is able to cool the engine by spraying high pressured water on the cooling components, thus doing a better job than regular cooling systems.

When it comes to aerodynamics, this track car produces 400% more downforce than the road legal version. The brand new spoiler, the new diffuser, as well as a new lower splitter further contribute to this extraordinary downforces. Lastly, the front dive planes round up everything in charge for keeping the car to the ground.

High-performance Dynamic Suspensions Spool Valve (DSSV) dampers have been fitted in the place of the regular hydraulically assisted adjustable suspension on the road legal car. This move shaved off some 150 kg from the car, a considerable amount for a track racecar. The ride height is lower, while the brakes are the same, but on a set of 19-inch wheels.

The interior of this beast has a Sparco driver’s seat, which is equipped with a six point harness. Lastly, in order to afford this bad boy, you will have to face a price tag of $1.2 million. Only 45 of these cars will be made.
