After all, having a 1,000-horsepower armored SUV with EMP protection and a thermal night vision system can be quite handy in case a bunch of zombies, or even worse liberals, come knocking on your door.

The ultimate bug out vehicle, based on Jeep Wrangler JK, Rezvani comes in several version and all of them carry an eye-watering price tag. The basic model goes for $155,000. Armored Tank Military Edition almost doubles that price at $295,000. Top of the line Tank version, dubbed off-road supercar, wil set you back $349,000.
Tank comes with an upgraded supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine from dodge Demon, tuned up to deliver 1,000 horsepower and ridiculous 870 pound-feet (1,180 Newton-meters) of torque. Rezvani claims that this is “the most powerful production SUV in the world” and they might be correct.

There are all sort of goodies Rezvani can throw in, for a price. Let’s start with a thermal night vision system, costing $6,500. An upgraded FOX suspension, designed for off-road racing, goes for $12,500. If you like to cruise through the apocalypse in style, then you should opt for full leather interior, for just $5,500. Naturally, you will need something to drone out the screams of those less fortunate, and what better than a $12,500 Focal sound system. For $850, you can get side cameras and $2,500 will get you automatic side steps.

A four-cylinder 2.0-liter turbo engine delivering 285 horsepower for standard version can be had, but only for export vehicles. For domestic market, Rezvani is offering a naturally aspirated 3.6-liter V6 delivering 285 horsepower and a 6.4-liter V8 with 500 horsepower. For diesel lovers there is a 3.0-liter V6 diesel churning out 285 horsepower.
Customers with pre-orders will receive their Tanks in the following weeks, while new orders are also being taken.
