1. Volkswagen T-Roc
As we said, all the world’s largest companies want a large share on the Indian market, and one of the largest is certainly Volkswagen. The German company will launch its SUV called T-Roc in India during September. At first glance, we can conclude that this is a beautifully designed car that has a spacious interior and belongs to the premium class. When it comes to power unit, the T-Roc is powered by a 2.0 TSI petrol engine. As for gearbox, a 7-Speed DSG dual-clutch automatic unit is fitted. All in all, T-Roc is a compact vehicle with an affordable price of around Rs. 18 lakh.
2. Audi Q8
Another German company that decided to introduce its SUV is Audi. This is their Q8 car powered by a 3.0-liter V6 TDI petrol engine. Also, eight-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission is installed as well as the Quattro AWD system developed by a team of engineers from this German manufacturer. The price expected for the Audi Q8 is not low as it is likely to be around Rs. 90 lakh. Of course, the launch is expected in September of 2019.
3. Jaguar XE 2019
When it comes to Jaguar XE, this car will have a significantly lower price compared to the previous vehicle on our list, around Rs. 30 Lakh. This one belongs to the sedan category and by all predictions, this version will be significantly better than its predecessors. For the engine, there will be diesel and petrol versions of the 2.0-liter Ingenium engine, which has a power of 180PS and reaches 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds. The 8-speed transmission will also be present.
4. Renault KWID 2019
The Renault KWID is definitely the most affordable car to talk about today with a price tag of Rs. 2.80 lakh in Indian market. The sale is expected to start by the end of September. The new version is actually a facelift of the previous car, so a 0.8-liter engine will run this machine. There is another version with a 1.0-liter engine, and common to both is that these are petrol engines. In terms of power, the 0.8 version has 54PS, while the other one has 68PS. Both versions will feature a 5-speed manual gearbox.
5. Tata Altroz
Another very affordable car comes from the largest domestic manufacturer in the industry. Tata Altroz will have a price of around Rs. 6 lakh. As for the engine, it is expected to hit the market with two petrol engines, while the diesel variant is likely to be a 1.5-liter power unit just like in the Nexon.
When it comes to petrol versions, we believe that 1.2-liter engines from Tiago and Nexon with 100PS and 85PS will be used. They have in common that all versions will have a 5-speed manual transmission.
6. Audi Q3 2019
Another car to be introduced by Audi in India and also belonging to the Q Series is the Audi Q3. Unlike the Q8, the Audi Q3 is a coupe-SUV combination when it comes to design. Of course, customers will be able to choose between a 2.0-liter TDI diesel that produces 150PS and a 2.0-liter TFSI petrol engine with 230PS. Similar to the Q8 model, there is the 8-speed automatic transmission as well as the Quattro AWD system. It should be noted that a manual gearbox version will also be available. In terms of price, the Audi Q3 is likely to cost around Rs. 40 lakh.
7. Mahindra eKUV100
If you still want a vehicle that is environmentally friendly, then you can buy a Mahindra eKUV100 electric car. As for the drive, a 31kW electric motor is built into the eKUV100 that will use energy from a lithium-ion battery. Given that time is precious, Mahindra engineers have installed a fast charging system so that almost 80% can be recharged in about 1 hour. As far as the range is concerned, with a full battery charged, you will be able to travel about 140km. The price of Mahindra eKUV100 is expected to be around Rs. 10 lakh.
8. Land Rover Range Rover Evoque 2019
Land Rover introduced its Envoque last year at the LA Motor Show. However, September 2019 is the right time to hit the market in India. When it comes to drivetrain, two versions of the 2.0-liter engine will be available-petrol and diesel Ingenium units. At first glance, you can conclude that this is a crossover, which is characteristic of the British manufacturer. Both engine versions should be combined with a mild-hybrid system. In combination with the petrol engine, 249PS will be produced, while pairing with diesel will produce 180PS. A 9-speed ZF automatic gearbox will also be fitted. The price is estimated at around Rs. 55 lakh.
9. Skoda Superb 2019
One of the most distinctive Skoda cars is their sedan called Superb. This September, the 2019 Skoda Superb becomes available to all drivers in India with an affordable price of around Rs. 20 lakh. When it comes to the Superb model, this is probably the biggest facelift and a lot of changes are noticeable. As for the drivetrain, the Superb will have a plug-in hybrid one. This means it will have combination of 1.4-liter TSI petrol engine with an 85kWH electric engine that together produce up to 218PS. A 37Ah battery is responsible for powering the electrical unit. If the driver chooses to use only the electric drive, it will provide a maximum range of 55km of driving, while in the combination of the two engines the maximum distance is 850km.
10. Audi A6 2019
For the end, another car by Audi-the A6. It will be powered by a 2.0-liter TDI while a version with a 3.0-liter TFSI petrol engine will also be available. In the former case, the power is 170PS and in the latter it is about 340PS.
Of course, as with other Audi vehicles, the A6 will feature the Quattro AWD system. It’s also important to note that the sedan will have an 8-speed Tiptronic automatic gearbox. As for the price, it will be around Rs. 60 lakh.
