When you take into account her two failed marriages and a turbulent romance with a younger man, this hardly comes as a surprise. The attractive singer Cheryl Tweedy shocked the public in Britain when she revealed she wants to expand her family.
The reason for the shock is not because she wants to make up with one of her ex-husband, footballer Ashley Cole who cheated on her, French restaurateur Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini whom she divorced after record breaking 14 seconds, or singer Liam Payne with whom she already has one son.
“I want to expand my family, but with donor sp**m”, Cheryl told to British newspapers.
“If time was on my side and I was in my twenties, yeah, I would wait and consider more options, or wait for somebody I felt was right. You could meet somebody and for that year it feels incredible, but there is never a guarantee because there are so many variables that can happen. Life is a funny old game.”
She added she wants at least two more children, and that she is looking abroad for a donor:
“Do you imagine some guy from Newcastle saying, “That’s my child? There’s a lot to choose from and a lot to think about.”
Her colleague, Natalie Imbruglie, has recently done the same and gave birth to a son.
