Actress Julia Roberts appeared barefooted at the British Fashion Awards show in the Royal Albert Hall last night.

The famous Hollywood star walked the red carpet without shoes because she had previously taken them off because she felt uncomfortable in them.

According to media, when she came out of the limousine upon arrival at this glamorous even, Julia took off her shoes and walked barefoot. The paparazzi were able to take pictures of the blisters that probably result from her tight heels.

Yet, although her feet have attracted a lot of attention, Julia Roberts was under the spotlight in her black jumpsuit with crystal embellishment, proving that she is still considered a style icon.

It’s not the first time that the 52-year-old actress steps onto the red carpet without shoes. In May 2016, Julia Roberts came barefooted at the Cannes Film Festival just in her Armani Privé gown. This was an act of rebellion after festival organizers allegedly turned away a group of women from a screening of the movie Carol for not wearing high heels.
