In an effort to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the iconic song called Space Oddity, Barbie officials over at Mattel have issued a special collectible version of their iconic doll, who is dressed as Ziggy Stardust, one of the singer’s most beloved and recognizable alter egos.
The Barbie is dressed in the metallic Ziggy space suit that has red and blue stripes and flared shoulders. On her feet, there is a pair of cherry red platform boots. What is more, Mattel did no spare anything with this limited edition model, and they fitted the doll with the famous astral sphere on the forehead.
The price of the newest Barbie doll is $50, and this limited edition collectible was made in a partnership with The David Bowie Archive.
