The raccoon baby was found with severe injuries on his face. He was spotted by zoo staff, and after seeing a dead female nearby, they thought she was the mom of a small raccoon, and that he was now an orphan.
When they managed to catch the cub, they noticed that he had a facial injury. He was taken to a vet, who found that he had a cut, a tooth fracture, and some other injuries in the mouth.
This little orphan was either hit by a car or attacked by an animal. Veterinary clinic staff gave the raccoon an anesthetic, then removed several teeth, sew his gums and lips, and rinsed his wounds thoroughly. With painkillers and antibiotics, this little cutie will fully recover and be returned to nature.
The vet and the technicians working on this little orphan melted from cuteness when they first saw him, and even more so when he woke up from anesthesia. Totally confused, baby raccoon tried to see the world around him.
