Pink, a famous singer and artist shicked the public after publishing a picture on Instagram that showed her new hairstyle. In the picture you can see she is holding pieces of her blonde hair, and she captioned “Letting Go.”
Three monts before Pink decided to change her look, Willow Sage, her daughter, shaved the side of her head. In September Pink’s husband, Carey Hart posted a photo of their daugher getting her new hairstyle. He also wrote some things about their child in the caption: “Loving my punk rock daughter. Remember everyone, fly your own flag.
There is no box to be put in. It’s better to be your own self. Own it, and love it. And if anyone has a problem with it, tell them (politely) to move on.” He added, “Cant wait to see the woman you grow up to be. I have a feeling you are gonna be strong, fierce, companionate, and caring. I’m so proud of you, Willow.”
In 2017 Pink there were many comments after Pink’s acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards. She decided to talk about body image and shared that her daughter told her: “I’m the ugliest girl I know. I look like a boy with long hair.”
Pink told her daughter: “‘You’re beautiful. When people make fun of me they say I look like a boy or I’m too masculine or I’m too outspoken. Do you see me growing my hair? Do you see me changing my body? Do you see me selling out arenas all over the world? Baby girl, we don’t change. We take the gravel in the shell and make a pearl. We help other people to change, so they can see all kinds of beauty.”
Earlier in 2019. Pink allowed her daughter to dye her hair blue, after hearing a rumor that Jessica Simpson was attacked on social media because of letting her daughter Maxwell Drew who is 7 years old dye the ends of her hair purple.
Pink posted the picture of her daughter’s hair on Instagram and captioned: “I heard people were bummed on Jessica Simpson for letting her seven-year-old get her hair colored. So we thought we’d share what we did yesterday.” She also added a few hashtags, including “get your own kids” as well as “blue hair don’t care.”
