In the following article, you can read why this cat was so special.
Lil Bub, a cat well-known on Instagram and Facebook has died at the age of eight. Mike Bridavsky, cat’s owner, posted the miserable news on Instagram.

Lil Bub, the popular cat, was known for her rare appearance – round eyes and bulging tongue. She was born with several syndromes and was of the low figure.

Bridavsky was able to raise more than $ 700,000 in her lifetime, which he donated to animal charities.

“Bub has influenced organizations that help animals and the lives of people around the world,” he wrote on Instagram.

Lil Bub was known for her specific attendance. Due to her low figure, she looked like a kitten for the rest of her life.

She also had polydactyly, apropos, she had an extra finger on each paw, and an undersized jaw that kept her tongue hanging all the time.

Bridavsky decided to adopt her after his friend found it in a tool shed in Indiana.

In one interview, he described a cat as a “happy natural disaster” and insisted that the cat have a good life, regardless of health issues.

He made a blog on Tumblr in 2011 and the cat became popular when her picture reached Reddit. Soon enough, little cat Bub arrived on television, and she also has taken part in many American television programs.

Lil Bub has got offers to cooperate with many companies and has had a show on YouTube and a documentary series.

Bridavsky used her fame and raised money for charity to help other cats with special needs through the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

Before she died, Lil Bub had a bone infection, and her owner wrote about it on Instagram. Bridavsky said the cat died unexpectedly in asleep Sunday morning.

He said his cat sent a message of fortitude, positivity, and determination to many people in the world, as evidenced by the many comments below his announcement.

Losing a pet is a difficult and complicated process, and only more so when your pet was loved by so many. While I was the one that cared for and took care of BUB, she was not MY cat – she was OUR cat. It’s a tough time for sure, but in hindsight I can see that it really was her time to go, and she knew exactly what she was doing when she decided to go back to space the way that she did. It’s going to take some time to get used to a world without her, but she left it a better place. I’m going to take a few days off from posting, but I promise to continue to share the many magical moments and memories from the past 8 years once our family has had some time to recover. BTW – there may be a memorial service in Bloomington soon. And if you see companies selling “RIP BUB” shirts, those aren’t from us, they’re just trying to make a quick buck. Due to overwhelming popular demand, we will be making some commemorative BUB merchandise in the coming weeks. If you’d like to stay up to date on the memorial service, new commemorative BUB stuff, and other developments, you can sign up for the newsletter at the link in BUB’s bio (www.lilbub.com/newsletter) Thanks for all of your support. #bestjobbub #lilbub #scienceandmagic

Among those saying goodbye to the little cat on social networks were people working for charities to which her owner donated funds.

The death of Lil Bub followed seven months after the death of the Grampi cat, another internet legend.
