In addition to this, you can also scan codes to unlock the gifts once in the store, all thanks to your phone’s camera. For instance, you can get in-game items for Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee!

The Pokémon Company first released two images as an advertisement for the new app, where we can see that Pokémon app has its own logo and that it will be available both on Android and iPhone. Soon afterwards, they confirmed the news and released the new app.

However, don’t forget that you’ll need to enable location services and grant permission for the app to use your phone’s camera in order to actually download it.
